POSITION SUMMARY:
Determine quantity of batters to produce, mix and bake cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, and prepare the store for opening in accordance with Gigi’s Cupcakes standards and policies. Frost non-custom cupcake orders and store cupcakes. Prospective employees should be outgoing, friendly, hard-working, dependable and a team player. Most positions are initially part-time. Part-time positions may lead to full-time employment based on job performance and available openings.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
· Must be available to work two 6+ hour shifts per week.
· Basic math skills are required.
· Willing to work Saturdays and Holidays as needed.
· Self-starter who also follows through to completion.
· Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, and training materials.
· Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills that engage our customers and associates.
· Ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information in a professional manner and work with all levels of the organization.
· Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to help all members of the department.
· Possess abilities and skills for effective production, merchandising, and customer services.
· Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and carefully operate all production equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· On feet up to 8 hours per day
· Dexterity to twist, squat, bend, push, reach, and pull
· Frequently lift 20-50 pounds
