**Job Title: General Production Worker**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced General Production Worker to join our team. The role involves operating industrial machinery, including furnaces, and handling various physical tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing and be comfortable working in a demanding environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate industrial machinery and furnaces.
+ Handle and process barrels of tungsten powder.
+ Ensure the chemical process of manufacturing tungsten is carried out efficiently.
+ Utilize hand tools for various tasks.
+ Perform general production duties including assembly and machine operation.
+ Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in a non-climate controlled environment.
+ Work 12-hour shifts, either during the day or night, on a rotating schedule.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in manufacturing or a related field.
+ Proficiency with hand tools.
+ Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 30 lbs.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous experience in a chemical plant is highly preferred.
+ Background in mechanical, construction, or chemical industries is a plus.
+ Good work history and reliability.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is demanding and includes exposure to high temperatures, non-climate controlled conditions, and physical labor. Employees will be working around high-temperature furnaces, robots, and powdered metal. The facility can be very dirty with black powder residue and a strong ammonia smell. Training will be conducted over a two-week period, including one week at an external training facility and one week on-site. Employees must be able to train on day shifts before transitioning to their assigned schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, Alabama.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
