We're looking for a culinary leader who can provide our guests with fantastic dining experiences. We require a supervisor who is capable of overseeing the entire kitchen and ensuring food safety laws are followed, as well as being successful at implementing new menu items and recipes. Passion for food and the ability to inspire others to be innovative and enthusiastic kitchen professionals are highly valued skills. • Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials
• Provide guidance and direction to staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance to make the kitchen run efficiently
• Recruit, train, and lead all kitchen personnel while instilling a sense of teamwork through positive feedback, mentoring, and support
• Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price
• Be responsible for the overall success of the daily culinary operations, with an emphasis on surpassing guest expectations while driving revenue and profit
• Ensure that all food preparation, including processes, portioning, and garnishing, is well supervised, and confirm that the finished dishes are visually appealing

Qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• Must have 7-8 years of culinary experience for this role
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
• Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
• This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team
