Job Description

Function: Supports the Finance Director with a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, billings, cash receipts, reconciliation, processing and data entry, payroll, and other accounting functions as assigned in order to produce timely and accurate financial statements for all related entities.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES: (not all-inclusive) 

• Collects information and prepares drafts of reports for various grants.   

• Enters invoices into Quickbooks and prepares checks for signatures.  

• Matches up receipts to credit card statements and researches discrepancies.   

• Processes Payroll 

• Handles all PTO (Paid Time Off )and PTO requests for discrepancies. 

• Prepares all ACA information.  

• Prepares accounts receivable billing and provides follow up.   

• Provides support on preparation of audit work papers.   

• Assists with preparations for Investment, Finance and Board Meetings.   

• Attends meetings as requested to take notes. 

• Filing, copying, faxing, scanning and other office assistance.  

• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Quickbooks, and Office equipment.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: (not all inclusive) 

• This position is Part Time. 

• Prefer Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent; must have at least High School diploma. 

• Valid State Driver’s License 

• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test 

• Ability to meet ongoing and reoccurring deadlines. 

• Strong Organization, Time Management Skills and ability to set Priorities 

• Obtain strong Work Ethic, Positive Attitude, High Level of Energy and Flexibility  

• Strong communication, Interpersonal skills, and Attention to Detail 

• Must be comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Required to stand, walk, and sit. Able to use hands and fingers on a (computer) keyboard and other office equipment. 

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 

• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. 

• The noise level in the work environment is high due to work is conducted in a Club for children, inside and outside setting.
