Job Description
BayCare is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support our Finance Division. This hybrid role is ideal for early-career finance professionals who are ready to build on their experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. Under the direction of finance leadership, you will contribute to key financial processes across clinical or business service lines, while continuing to grow your skills in Excel, general ledger management, and inventory analysis.
**Your Role Within the Team:**
+ Serve as a financial representative for an assigned clinical or business service line.
+ Assist with financial reporting, general ledger activity, and accounting support.
+ Participate in the preparation of operating and capital budgets, forecasts, and regulatory reports.
+ Support and ensure accuracy in capital asset management and charge master services.
+ Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and assist in process improvements.
+ Apply critical thinking skills to identify trends, solve problems, and recommend solutions.
+ Use Microsoft Office Suite to create reports, presentations, and financial summaries.
+ **Preferred:** Contribute to inventory tracking or cost analysis efforts.
+ Deliver responsive customer service while learning to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications:**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office applications.
+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Preferred:**
+ Experience with inventory management, cost accounting, or general ledger systems.
+ Prior experience in healthcare or a complex business environment.
+ 1 year of experience in accounting or finance (strongly preferred)
