📌 Position: Financial Analyst/Bookkeeper
🕒 Job Type: Full-Time / Independent Contractor
💰 Salary: $1,500 - $2,000 USD (Based on Experience)
🌍 Location: Latin America ONLY (100% Remote)
⏰ Working Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM EST

About the Company

A growing company in the custom home building and real estate development industry is looking for a Financial Analyst to oversee financial reporting, QuickBooks Online management, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Administration
Manage QuickBooks Online for multiple entities.
Set up new projects in QBO and maintain an organized chart of accounts.
Review and improve financial tracking and reporting processes.

Banking & Transactions
Perform daily transaction matching and reconciliation.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
Maintain view-only access to bank accounts to track deposits and payments.

Accounts Receivable & Payable
Manage invoices, match payments, and reconcile accounts.
Generate weekly AR (Accounts Receivable) reports.
Process vendor payments using Bill.com, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
Reconcile vendor statements and manage W9 & COI tracking.

Payroll & Budgeting
Input payroll data from Paychex into QuickBooks Online (twice per month).
Track Construction in Progress (CIP) for active and closed projects.
Record journal entries for CIP to COGS when projects close.
Perform monthly budget reviews and analysis to identify cost improvements.

Reconciliation & Compliance
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
File 1099s and 1096 reports for vendors at year-end.
Assist with insurance audits and compliance tracking.

Financial Reporting
Provide a weekly financial report to the President.
Maintain and update financial spreadsheets for project tracking.
Analyze trade business performance and construction project budgets.

Expense & Credit Card Management
Categorize credit card transactions in Ramp.
Follow up with employees to ensure accurate expense tracking.
Identify and recommend areas for spending improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications

✔ 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting or bookkeeping.
✔ QuickBooks Online experience (managing multiple entities preferred).
✔ Strong knowledge of accounting principles & financial reporting .
✔ Construction accounting experience is a plus .
✔ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets .
✔ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
✔ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills (C1 English required).
✔ Proactive, responsive, and able to prioritize financial tasks effectively.
