Select Staffing is hiring experienced Forklift Drivers for a reputable food wholesaler in Modesto, CA. This is a great opportunity for individuals with prior cold storage or freezer warehouse experience. You’ll be working in a below-freezing environment and must be comfortable operating equipment in cold conditions.
As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely moving and organizing products in a cold storage facility. You’ll operate various types of forklifts, load/unload goods, and help maintain smooth operations while following all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Order Picker/ Electric Pallet Jack and Stand up Forklift in a cold storage setting
Load and unload materials in sub-zero warehouse environments
Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Ensure accurate inventory movement and documentation
Follow strict safety procedures and wear all required cold-weather PPE

Prior experience working in a cold storage or freezer warehouse is strongly preferred
Proficient in operating Order Picker, Turret, and Stand-Up forklifts

Forklift certification a plus; client may provide on-site certification for qualified candidates
