Painter | Direct Hire role

Eligibility: Must be willing to travel to Connecticut for work

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $32/hr

• 60-hour weekly guarantee (first and last week paid at hours worked)

• $50 daily per diem

• Lodging & flight paid for; single occupancy lodging provided

• Full-time; day shift

• Duration: Prepare for 3-month engagement

• Start date: 5/25/25

ROLE IMPACT: This Painter role plays an essential part in finishing operations, ensuring that manufactured parts meet appearance and protective coating standards. You will work in a controlled booth environment using advanced spray systems to apply multiple paint layers. Precision, consistency, and safety adherence are key to success in this role.

KEY DUTIES

• Mask, spray, and unmask parts following job-specific instructions

• Operate within a controlled booth environment using respirator and PPE

• Apply up to 5 coats of paint with automated spray and flow systems

• Perform visual inspections of painted components

• Adhere to process documentation and safety protocols

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Direct experience operating in industrial paint booths required

• Must be clean-shaven and pass both PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) and RFT (Respirator Fit Test)

• Ability to wear full protective equipment and respirator for extended periods

• Able to follow detailed instructions and visual standards without performing spec-based paint inspections

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Paint booth environments with mechanical ventilation

• Respirator use and PPE compliance required

• Exposure to paint fumes, compressed air, and multi-coat application systems

• Requires standing, repetitive motions, and handling tools/spray guns

• Visual assessments under bright lighting conditions

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Prior experience with multi-layer industrial coatings in aerospace or automotive industries

• Familiarity with safety-compliant paint application and masking techniques

• Ability to work from visual job instructions and diagrams
