📍 Louisville-area territory | Home most nights | Technical Sales | Strong OEM & End User Base
A global manufacturer of gear motors, variable frequency drives, and motion control components is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support a high-potential territory in the Louisville, KY area . This is a field-based role with minimal overnight travel and a strong mix of OEMs, distributors, and end users already in place.

🔹 Team Support – Backed by product management, inside sales, and customer service
Grow revenue across a defined region by developing OEMs, end users, and distributor accounts
Conduct face-to-face sales calls and technical presentations
Assess customer needs and recommend solutions tailored to their equipment and applications
Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals
Train customers on product usage, installation, and maintenance as needed
Track and analyze competitors, market trends, and emerging opportunities
Maintain accurate call reports, sales plans, and expense documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to support long-term customer satisfaction
2–3 years of outside sales or 3–5 years inside sales, preferably in industrial or technical environments
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or technical equivalent preferred
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), automation controls, or gearing/reducers is a plus
Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning skills
Ability to manage a territory with minimal supervision
